The Wine
VILA REGIA identifies very appealing and enjoyable wines, with great gastronomy and «by the glass» appeal, produced by Sogrape in the celebrated Douro region in Portugal. VILA REGIA range includes Red and White wines.

Tasting Notes
VILA REGIA WHITE 2006 has a pale yellow citrus colour and great freshness. The good aromatic intensity reminds floral notes, citrus fruits and pineapple. In the mouth it is a well balanced wine, with good acidity and youthful exuberance yet with a fine, delicate finish. A wine to fully enjoy in its first year.

Serving Suggestions
VILA REGIA WHITE is ideal to drink on its own or accompanying various fish and sea food dishes, salads, pasta and poultry. Ideal temperature is 10º-12º C.

Varieties
VILA REGIA WHITE 2006 is produced with selected native varieties Malvasia Fina, Viosinho, Gouveio, Códega and Rabigato from selected vineyards in Douro Valley.

Winemaking
At arrival to the Sogrape's winery of Vila Real, the hand-picked grapes are de-stalked, gently crushed and pressed before fermenting in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature of 16º-18ºC for around 3 weeks.

Ageing and Storage
The wines are kept separately and selected for the final blend following several tasting. VILA REGIA WHITE is cold stabilised, filtered and bottled in the beginning of the year following the harvest. VILA REGIA WHITE should be stored in a dry and cool place.
