Barrancas – Maipú – Province of Mendoza. The estate is situated at the foot of the Andes and has a total area of 920 hectares, of which 300 are planted with vineyards of noble vine varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah, Merlot and Chardonnay. The vineyards overlap two districts of Mendoza: One is at Barrancas, in the Department of Maipú. The area has a small ecosystem with dry, sunny weather, good temperature range between day and night and permeable soils, ideal for the growing of high-quality grapes producing complex and expressive wines. The other one lies at 1,120 m altitude in the famous Tupungato district which, due to its warm days, very cool nights and sandy soils, is a privileged growing area. |
